In the Name of God, the All-Merciful, the All-Compassionate --

Today is that day in history when virtuous women all over the world and for all ages, generations, times, and places, had at last found a perfect model to mould their life upon. Yes friends, the reason we in the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as several other countries and cultures celebrated this day every year as Mother's Day is for the birth anniversary of the noblest lady of all times – the Model Par-Excellence for the daughters of Eve, who has taught women how to be exemplary daughters, how to be faithful wives, and how to be educative mothers.

Heartfelt condolences to you all on the advent of a day that refreshes our grief. It is a tragic day that we observe every year with a public holiday in the Islamic Republic of Iran with special mourning ceremonies all over the country.

“Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant?

“Did he not cause their conspiracy to end in confusion?

“And send down upon them (to prey) birds in flocks;

“Casting against them stones of baked clay;
