Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi said the people will put on display their national solidarity and might with their massive presence at Bahman 22 (February 11) rallies (to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution) Saturday.

According to IRIB, he said on Wednesday that 22nd of Bahman is the starting point of Islamic governance, reiterating unity and faithfulness of the people as the two most important factor behind progress and grandeur of the Islamic Iran.

The grand ayatollah further condemned interference policies of the US and Europe in Iran, warning that if we retreated even an iota from our inalienable rights, they (enemies) would come up with new dreams about the country.

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi blasted the US and Europe's unappeasable greed and illogical stance toward the world issues, and while pointing to the US blind support for the Zionist regime of Israel said: "The US has vetoed all anti-Iran resolutions at the UN Security Council; however, they couldn't stand a no vote for a single resolution against Syria by China and Russia and raise hue and cry in this regard."
