Ahmad-Reza Bayati, the Secretary of CAPA Iran Aviation Summit 2016 in an interview with IRIB said that the main goal of this two-day event is to open the doors of Iran’s aviation industry to the international aviation companies.
Bayati further said that 70 percent of the leading 22 leasing aviation firms from the US, the UK, France and Australia have participated in Tehran’s summit.
He further reiterated that Iran in this meeting is to present encouragements and plans to attract foreign investment in the field of aviation, adding that to purchase and lease planes, expansion of domestic and international flight network as well as the air tourism and improving airports are the topics to be discussed in this summit.
This event is being organized by CAPA – Center for Asia-Pacific Aviation – which is a specialist aviation industry intelligence and research practice headquartered in Sydney. This summit is meant to bring together all of the key decision-makers from Iran with leading figures from the global community to help shape the direction of Iran’s aviation industry in a post-sanctions era.
