On the sidelines of the 16th NAM summit in Tehran, the president of Sudan Omar Al-Bashir met and conferred with Iranian Majlis speaker Ali Larijani and deemed Tehran-Khartoum views in many regional and international issues including Palestine and Syria very close to each other.
Expressing his content over trip to Iran, Al-Bashir said the relation s of Islamic Republic and Sudan are progressing in all domains and Sudan calls for expansion of friendly cooperation with Iran.
Ali Larijani, for his part, described mutual relations of Iran and Sudan as moving forward and promising a sure future adding that the Iranian private sector can contribute to the trend of industrial and construction advancement in Sudan, and that Iran is resolved to reinforce and enhance relations with Sudan in all fields.
Larijani also pointed to the recent crisis in Syria and the western supports of the active terrorists inside the country making it clear that undermining Syria will be to the benefit of the Zionist regime and that The Syrian people and Muslim world will be harmed the most.
