According to IRIB World Service, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, regretting the inattention to the bounties of verdant nature during long years, said: “Today people shoulder the most important role in the revival of green space in Iran, and in addition to creating new patches of foliage they should look after the forests, gardens, pastures and fertile lands.”
The ceremony was attended by the ministers of Agricultural Jihad and Energy, the Head of the Environmental Protection Organization and the Tehran Mayor.
