Lavrov: IAEA visit of Parchin not to yield any unexpected result

Russian Foreign Minister said on Wednesday IAEA inspectors have already visited Iran's Parching site once and therefore, a second visit of it cannot yield any unexpected results.

According to IRNA, Sergei Lavrov who was speaking at a gathering of reporters in Moscow added, “A delegation of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors recently had a visit of Iran to harmonize about the details of a modality regarding the Iranian nuclear program.”

He added, “Our Iranian partners have emphasized that they are after reaching a full agreement on that document before issuing any new permit for visiting other sites.’

Lavrov said, “We believe our Iranian partners can work faster in these regards and respond positively to the proposals of the IAEA inspectors who are after reaching agreements and drafting an appropriate text.”

The Russian foreign minister said, “I believe the issue of visiting different facilities, including Parchin, can be included in the framework of the two sides' conditions.”

A reporter asked about the place of the next round of the Iran-5+1 Group talks.

Lavrov replied, ‘The talks would be held for sure and the place of them is therefore of a secondary level of importance.”

The Russian foreign minister noted that the technical talks about the place and time of those negotiations are underway, and I do not know the reason for the importance of the place of them.
