Ghana's Deputy FM Confers Iran's FM to Expand Ties Print

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in a meeting with the Ghana's Deputy Foreign Minister Chris Kpodo underlined in Tehran on Tuesday Tehran's firm intent to boost cooperation with the West African state of Ghana.

According to IRIB, Iran's Foreign Minister, Mottaki, stressed measures in support of the two countries' private sector. He said providing consular facilities is one way of bolstering trade and industrial ties between the two countries.
Mottaki said Iran's 100-years of experience in the oil industry provides excellent opportunity for expanding cooperation between Iran and Ghana.
During the meeting, Ghana's deputy foreign minister briefed the Iranian foreign minister about the African country's political and economic status.
Chris Kpodo said that bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a positive approach for the two sides to further expand relations and cooperation.
