Iran, Ghana Determined to Boost Agricultural Cooperation Print
Tuesday, 09 February 2010 17:48

Iran's Agriculture Minister Sadeq Khalilian and Ghana's Deputy Foreign Minister Chris Kpodo have discussed ways of expanding mutual cooperation, especially in agriculture.

The meeting took place in Tehran on Tuesday.
According to IRIB, Khalilian underlined the resolve of the two countries' high-ranking officials to expand mutual cooperation, saying there are ample capacities in both Iran and Ghana that should be identified and utilized for developing cooperation between the two countries.
"Ghana has a good standing within the African continent and this can help expand the two countries' strategic cooperation," the Iranian minister said, underlining the implementation of the previous agreements.
Ghana's deputy foreign minister, Chris Kpodo, for his part, called for continued cooperation between the two countries and exchange of the two sides' experiences.
