Ayatollah Montazeri Passes Away Print

Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri has passed away at his home in the Iranian holy city of Qom at the age of 87.

According to IRIB correspondent, Ayatollah Montazeri was born in 1922 in the Najafabad city of Isfahan province and passed away late on Saturday.

According to comments made by his physician, Dr. Baher, Ayatollah Montazeri due to his old age was suffering from different illnesses such as asthma and cardiovascular disease.
