Sixteen Iranian novice graphic designers are getting ready to participate at the City and the River Visual Creations Competition which will be held in spring 2010 in Ivry-sur-Seine, France.

According to Mehr News Agency on Sunday, February 07, the artists are currently participating in a ten-week workshop being conducted by Iranian graphic designer Majid Abbasi in order to be ready to take part in the poster section of the event.

Headed by renowned French artist Thierry Sarfis, the competition will be held in three sections namely poster, photo and short film (between 1 to 30 minutes).

The jury will select 30 posters, 30 photos and 15 films from the submitted works which will go on display during the exhibition and participants can submit their entries until April 15.

Iranian artists participated in “Students, All to Chaumont!” the 16th Competition-Exhibition of the festival which was held from May 16 to June 14, 2009 in France.
